King's Seminary welcomes the opportunity to receive recommendations and nominations of persons in the ministry who deserve the special recognition and honor of receiving the Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree. However each applicant must meet the criteria established by King's Seminary Board of Education which will also be based upon their evaluation of information provided about the candidates. The Honorary Doctorate Degree is conferred upon distinguished Pastors, Evangelists, Ministers, and other Christian Leaders or Public Servants who have made significant contributions in their respective fields or for the extension of God's Kingdom.
An honorary degree or a degree honoris causa (Latin: "for the sake of the honour") is an academic degree for which a university (or other degree-awarding institution) has waived the usual requirements, such as matriculation, residence, study and the passing of examinations. The degree is typically a doctorate and may be awarded to someone who has no prior connection with the institution.

The Honorary Doctorate Degree is a donor based award that is awarded solely for the accomplishments and contributions that a person has made. King's Seminary does not sell its Honorary Degrees, however there is a suggested donation amount. Please call the Seminary for the suggested amount and do not contact us if it is your desire to receive this degree at no charge. The suggested donation amount and the necessary qualification must be met in order to receive this degree.
To apply for the Honorary Doctorate or to recommend a candidate you may fill out the form or copy it and mail it to the Seminary. Please make sure that you or the candidate meets the necessary qualifications in order to receive this degree before making the suggested donation amount. All donations and fees are non refundable.
Should it become known publicly or otherwise that the degree recipient no longer represents the purpose and mission of King's Seminary or is found to have serious integrity issues, King's Seminary may withdraw the Honorary Degree.
King's Seminary of Majestic Messiah Ministries Incorporated is a non-profit organization 501 (c) (3) and all donations are tax deductible.
- Must be at least 35 years old.
-Must have a High School Diploma or GED
-Send us copies of all your credentials, degrees, licenses, or other documentation.
-Produce substantial evidence that you are a licensed and ordained Minister of the Gospel.
-Verify that you have had at least a decade (10 years) or more of ministerial experience.
-Prepare or present a typed one/two page summary or resume of your work for the Lord.
-Prepare a 5 page Essay/Research Paper on one of the following topics:
The Life of Christ
The Holy Spirit
Church Growth Methods
Heaven and Hell
You may also select your own topic but it must be approved by the Seminary's Board of Education.
HOW TO APPLY FOR AN HONORARY DOCTORATE DEGREE
There is a $150.00 Administration Fee that must be submitted before the processing can begin.

The administration Fee in the amount of $150.00 is due at the time of submission. This fee is non refundable.
The donation for the Honorary Doctorate Degree is $_______. There are no payment plans available for this degree, the suggested donation amount must be paid in full before the degree can be conferred or received. Please contact us for information regarding the suggested donation amount. Essay/Research Paper must be double-spaced and typed in 12 point font. The student must be able to clearly explain the thesis of the essay, summarize its argument, and discuss its contribution to the study of the required topic or a topic chosen by the degree candidate. This is not an earned degree and we do not want it to be mistaken as one. NOTICE - When submitting your honorary request you must comply with the Honorary Doctorate Procedures. (NO EXCEPTIONS!!!)
